Breakfast & Brunch Spots

Looking for a great place for a real breakfast, or a blow-out Sunday brunch? Palo Alto has many great spots to choose from, ranging from very informal to very upscale. If you're looking for a nice place to take grandma to breakfast or Sunday brunch, your best bet will be one of the major hotels or one of the restaurants that serves breakfast.

In the downtown, Il Fornaio is a favorite. Scott's in Town & Country Village is also good. If you want good food but an informal atmosphere, the most popular spots are Hobee's (at Town & Country Village and on El Camino in south Palo Alto) and ….. The best place to take the kids other than one of the hotels for standard fare like waffles, pancakes and omelettes is probably Stack's, located in downtown Menlo Park.
